On St David’s Day 2023 I walked out of my front door in Cardiff with an old rucksack and a cheap umbrella. I needed to get out of the city and sort my head out. The plan was three days to Chepstow and the train home. One hundred days and a thousand miles later I walked back into Cardiff, having gone all the way round Wales.

Ninety-nine nights in a ten-pound Asda tent, in open churches, a cave, a quarry, B&Bs and on the floors of family and friends.
